EDUCATION AT THE HEART OF SHEIKHA FATIMA BINT MUBARAK’S CONFERENCES
Before the key racing meeting of the Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Jebel Crown (Gr. I PA), the participants of the Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Festival could participate in two days of conferences on different subjects, but around the main theme of the jockeys’ courses. Lara Sawaya’s aim is to help apprentices and lady jockeys to progress, to whom she gives a chance all along the year to participate in races all over the world. Various speakers talked about their experience concerning risk prevention, but also weight control. Richard Mullen, Julie Krone and Chantal Sutherland were part of the guests. The second conference day focused on the media and communication, mainly around Purebred Arabian races and how the jockeys could play a role in it.
