A daughter of Tabarak lands top Polish accolade
Tabarak’s Elvira (Tabarak) has been recognised as the leading Polish 3-year-old filly of 2019. Bred by her owner, Élisabeth Chat, she won both the Nagroda Bialki and the Nagroda Sambora after accounting for the colts. She also finished in front of experienced campaigners, grouping the 4-year-old to 6-year-old age groups, when third in the President Cup at Warsaw. Tabarak’s Elvira is trained by Piotr Piatkowski. Her sire, General (Amer), is based at the Haras du Grand Courgeon. The stallion has also been responsible for siring Lady Princess (General). The latter has been recognised as the world’s leading three-year-old filly in 2019 according to the ratings published by IFAHR (International Federation of Arabian Horse Racing Authorities).
