JEAN DE MIEULLE STRIKES AT THE FIRST TIME OF ASKING

Having recently become a trainer at Morannes in the west of France, Jean de Mieulle made a dream start to his career when his very first runner struck gold at Le Lion-d'Angers on May 21st. San Pablo (Joshua Tree), the horse in question, made his mark in the Prix de la Grosse Pierre Handicap. Ridden by Olivier d'Andigné, the winner races in the colours of his owner-breeders, the Haras du Grand Courgeon. Jean de Mieulle, 26, is currently overseeing the preparation of three horses. He has also expressed the desire of wanting to train PA horses, having spent a lengthy period as assistant to Alban de Mieulle.
