Seventh Heaven vers un troisième Gr1

Seventh Heaven (Galileo) est la grande favorite de ce British Champions Fillies and Mares (Gr1). La représentante de Coolmore est proposée à la cote de 2/1, elle qui a remporté les Irish Oaks (Gr1) puis battu Found (Galileo) dans les Yorkshire Oaks (Gr1). Seventh Heaven trouve ici l’occasion de décrocher un nouveau Gr1 avant, peut-être, de courir le Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf (Gr1).

On lui opposera Speedy Boarding (Shamardal), récente gagnante du Prix de l’Opéra Longines (Gr1). Elle court rapproché, mais trouve ici l’une de ses dernières occasions de briller, avant d’entrer au haras en 2017. Elle peut monter sur le podium. Très plaisante pour sa rentrée dans les Enterprise Stakes (Gr3), Zhukova (Fastnet Rock) reste sur quatre succès consécutifs. Elle devrait avoir progressé sur sa course de rentrée, et c’est une candidate à la victoire. Deuxième de ce Gr1 l’an passé, Journey (Dubawi) peut prendre une place.

Order of St George de retour chez les stayers

Troisième du Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, Order of St George (Galileo) signait une grande performance. Il revient dans la catégorie des stayers ce samedi dans le Long Distance Cup (Gr2). Le gagnant du Gold Cup d’Ascot (Gr1) est en théorie une classe au-dessus de ses rivaux et doit l’emporter, s’il a bien récupéré de "l’Arc". Face à lui, il y a la ligne du prix du Cadran (Gr1), avec le gagnant Quest for More (Teofilo), qui dispose d’une première chance, et Nearly Caught (New Approach), certainement mieux sur cette distance. Gagnante du St Leger 2015 (Gr1), Simple Verse (Duke of Marmalade) revient bien. Elle a de la tenue et les 3.200m bon terrain lui conviendront.
