A TRIPLE WIN FOR MAJEED
Doha (QA), 23rd February 2017. Main race of the opening day at the Emir’s Sword International Festival, the Qatar Local Purebred Arabian Trophy was won for the third time in a row by Majeed (Amer). But the Umm Qarn 7yo horse, trained by Alban de Mieulle and ridden by Olivier Peslier won with the shortest distance possible, and the doubt was there for a long time. Majeed took the advantage quite early and managed to resist not by far to AJS Al Rayyan (Amer). Majeed is one of the best Purebred Arabian horses bred in Qatar and we see him in several some of the best European races. This summer, he finished second of the Doha Cup (Gr. I PA) in Deauville, and second of the Qatar Cup (Gr. I PA) in Chantilly. Whereas for Alban de Mieulle, it is the tenth time, in twelve years, that he wins this race.
Majeed is out of a very good Umm Qarn origin, since his dam is the sister of the dam of champions such as General (Amer) and Al Dahma (Amer).
