Qipco Prix du Jockey Club : un numéro piège pour le favori

Les partants, montes et places à la corde du Qipco Prix du Jockey Club (Gr1) ont été validés ce jeudi midi par France Galop. Ils seront bien dix-huit au départ. Olmedo (Declaration of War), gagnant de The Emirates Poule d’Essai des Poulains (Gr1), devra se sortir d’un numéro piège avec l’as dans les stalles. Le plus malheureux est Dice Roll (Showcasing) : pour son premier essai sur aussi long, il a hérité du 18 dans les boites. Study of Man (Deep Impact), gagnant du Prix Greffulhe (Gr2), a le 6, Intellogent (Intello), gagnant du Prix de Guiche (Gr3), s’élancera à l’extérieur avec le numéro 16. Son dauphin dans ce Gr3, Patascoy (Wootton Bassett), n’a pas été gâté non plus puisqu’il partira de la stalle 17, au côté d’Intellogent.

Supplémenté, l’invaincu Key Victory (Teofilo) a hérité du 7, tandis que Rostropovich (Frankel), meilleur atout d’Aidan O’Brien, s’élancera de la stalle 3.
