Qui sont les restants engagés du Qipco Prix du Jockey Club ?

France Galop a validé ce lundi matin les forfaits 1 du Qipco Prix du Jockey Club (Gr1), qui se dispute dimanche à Chantilly. De 174, ils sont passés à 30. Les seconds forfaits sont enregistrés mardi matin par France Galop.

Cette liste de trente est évidemment amenée à se réduire. On note par exemple la présence de six pensionnaires d’Aidan O’Brien, un nombre certainement appelé à diminuer. On note aussi la présence de Roaring Lion (Kitten’s Joy), alors que son entraîneur John Gosden a annoncé il y a quelques jours que le poulain devrait plutôt aller sur le Derby d’Epsom (Gr1). Le Godolphin Masar (New Approach) a lui-aussi l’option du Derby anglais. Un poulain comme Neufbosc (Mastercraftsman) a couru ce dimanche le Prix du Lys (Gr3) et devrait poursuivre sa route vers le Juddmonte Grand Prix de Paris (Gr1).

Fabrice Chappet a trois pensionnaires encore engagés : Dice Roll (Showcasing), Stable Genius (Siyouni) et Intellogent (Intello). Côté propriétaire, on note que Jean-Louis Bouchard a encore trois représentants en lice : Naturally High (Camelot), Infernal Majesty (Siyouni) et Sacred Life (Siyouni). Olmedo (Declaration of War), Study of Man (Deep Impact) et Rostropovich (Frankel), favoris de ce Qipco Prix du Jockey Club chez les bookmakers, sont encore engagés. Comme prévu, Wootton (Wootton Bassett) a été déclaré forfait, lui qui a Royal Ascot dans le viseur.
