Almost a first for Divamer

The stallion Divamer (Amer), part of the Haras du Grand Courgeon roster, enjoyed his first success as a sire via the Anglo-Arabian Eaupinel (Divamer) in 2018. He has since broken the ice in the Purebred Arabian domain thanks to Arguya (Divamer). Second to her fellow debutante and wide margin winner, Lady Princess (General), at Toulouse, the filly has since joined the stable of Thomas Fourcy after being acquired by Sheail Bin Khalifa Al Kuwari. It was in the colours of her new owner that she gained a two lengths win on her second start.

Ameretto hits the ground running

A resident of the Haras de Thouars, the stallion Ameretto (Amer) had his first runners, having been doubly represented in the Premio dei tre Anni in Milan on June 23rd. Indeed, one of them, in the form of Octopus Premier (Ameretto), proved victorious after winning with a bit in hand in the colours of Manuel Daverio. Aquila Nera, (Ameretto), the sire’s other representative, was third.

The Mohammed Al Nujaifi runner, in common with his sire Izz Al Khail (Matador), opened his account in the Premio Bar Apitxin on June 12th. A brother of the Gr1 PA winners Munera (Dormane) and Al Shamoos (No Risk Al Maury), he provided his sire with his first European winner. A few days later, but in Italy this time, Hilal Al Zaman (Mencour), another stallion belonging to Mohammed Al Nujaifi (stationed at

the Haras du Mazet) also got off the mark as a sire. This follows the win of Puy Raynal (Hilal Al Zaman) in the Premio Palmerio Agus at Sassari on June 24th.
