The stud fee of Al Mourtajez is set at €8,000
Six Al Shaqab Racing stallions are due to ply their trade in France in 2023, including several young sires with proven track records internationally.
Mister Ginoux (Amer) remains very affordable at €3,000 (fresh semen sample) and €3,500 (frozen sample). Three of his crops have reached the track, and he’s already the sire of Hoggar de l'Ardus (Qatar Arabian World Cup & Qatar Derby des Pur-Sang Arabes de 4ans, Grs1 PA), Alkedri (French Arabian Breeders' Challenge - Pouliches, Gr2 PA), Almafjar (French Arabian Breeders' Challenge Sprint, Gr2), Giboulée du Jura (Prix Burkeguy - Wathba Stallions Cup, L PA), Jalela (Sheikh Mansoor Festival - Prix Nefta, Gr2 PA), Mujazif (French Arabian Breeders' Challenge - Poulains, Gr2 PA)... and his biggest crops are yet to come.
Also in residence at the Haras de Thouars, Al Mourtajez (Dahess) caused quite a stir with his first PA 3-year-olds, and his stud fee has been set at €8,000 (fresh sample) and €8,500 (frozen). His 2022 covering fee was €3,500 (frozen) (€3,000 fresh sample). He is the sire of the exceptional talent Al Ghadeer (Qatar Arabian Trophy des Poulains & Prix Kesberoy, Grs1 PA), Joe Star (Royal Cavalry Oman - Prix Tidjani, Gr3 PA), Jindor de Bozouls (third in the French Arabian Breeders' Challenge - Poulains, Gr2 PA), Morad (Coupe de France des Chevaux Arabes, Gr2 PA) and Ska de l'Aigle (third in the Royal Cavalry Oman - Prix Tidjani, Gr3 PA)...
Dahess (Amer), the sire of Al Mourtajez, is one of the most proven PA stallions in the world. Furthermore, the son of Amer (Wafi) is the best represented ‘sire’ at the highest level. Commanding a fee of €5,000, the ‘Thouars’ veteran sire represents remarkable value for money. Another son of Dahess, Dahor de Brugère (Dahess) is a stallion with a numerically reduced production line, but one with a noteworthy strike rate. As with barely 15 starters to his name in France, he has produced four Gallic black type performers, including Alawsj (Qatar Arabian Trophy des Pouliches, Gr1 PA) and Meethag (Qatar Coupe de France des Chevaux Arabes, Gr2 PA).
Al Mamun Monlau (Munjiz) will command stud fees of €2,000 (fresh sample) and €2,500 (frozen) at the Haras de Thouars. He’s a perfect match for mares with Amer in their bloodlines, and this particular blend is responsible for Jabalah (Qatar Derby, Gr1 PA), Hargan (French Arabian Breeders' Challenge - Poulains, Gr2 PA), Hazzam (French Arabian Breeders' Challenge Sprint, Gr2 PA), Mezown (Royal Cavalry Oman - Prix Razzia III, Gr3 PA), Um Taj (second in the Al Rayyan Cup - Prix Kesberoy & Qatar Arabian Trophy des Juments, Grs1 PA), Sir Monlau (second in the French Arabian Breeders' Challenge - Poulains, Gr2 PA) and Jenkille Hipolyte (Prix Ourour, L PA)...
Lastly, given his covering fees of €500 (fresh sample) and €800 (frozen), Al Mouwaffak (Azadi) is a real steal. He will have his first runners in 2023! Well-bred and a very smart performer, he exuded speed and precocity.
